There are plenty of amazing pieces in Tomer Hanuka's portfolio that I could post in this blog but I am going to keep it short and suggest that you check out Tomer's and his twin brother Asaf's work on their blog. Tomer and his brother both worked on the Ocsar nominated Waltz with Bashir, and Tomer has received numerous awards for his comics and illustrations. Tomer's work has a certain fluidity that is often compared to artists like James Jean. To me, Tomer Hanuka lacks the softness of James Jean, and seems to have more design oriented compostitions than life-like ones (that is not to say that there is not often very detailed aspects of his work).Tomer and Asaf teamed up with fantastic Israeli writer Etgar Keret for the overall amazing comic series Bipolar, that illustrates the differences in the two brothers.
